Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- Make sure the submitted article does not contain author's name and identity to ensure a double-anonymous review.
- If the article is written by more than one author, make sure other co-authors have been listed in metadata submission.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
- Where available, DOI URLs for the references must be included.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. Further, follow the template.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Guidelines for Manuscript.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
- The submitted article is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism.
- The submitted article is written in either English or Bahasa using academic language along with standard academic writing structure and composition.
- Whatever the language is used in article writing, the abstract must be provided in appropriate English.
- All listed authors have agreed to the submitted version and, if published, to the final published version.
- The listed authors adhere to the Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for authorship definition.
- By publishing articles in Cr!ses on Languages and Literature, author(s) agree to publish the article under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License with the copyright remains on author(s)' hands.
